CBT, is a structured, short term, present-orientated psychotherapy. Where the therapist and client work together in changing the client’s behaviours and/or their thinking patterns. CBT is an evidence based approach shown to be effective in treating anxiety conditions and depression and reviewed by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence.

Meet Amanda Pearce
Amanda is a highly experienced Cognitive Behavioural psychotherapist and Occupational Therapist (OT) who specialises in CBT. With 20 years experience she has become a true specialist in her field. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of Anorexia nervosa, Bulimia, Depression and Anxiety Disorders, including panic disorders, OCD, GAD and social anxiety.
